Becoming A New Yorker

On Wednesday, I walked in to work and my boss asked me if I wanted to see Spiderman on Broadway that evening. I usually play cards with a group of people on Wednesday, but I couldn’t pass up free tickets to my first Broadway show! Despite the monsoon that was occurring, I headed up to midtown straight from work to catch the show.

I had heard some mixed reviews, but I’ll go ahead and say it: I loved it! The music was pretty campy and some of the costumes weren’t so great. But it was funnier than I was expecting. The set and stage design was incredible and all the cable flying with Spidey was mind-blowing. We had great seats down by the orchestra.  And it was just a really fun show. 

(I would have loved to take pictures throughout the entire production, but an usher yelled at me to put my camera (phone) away. Whoops!)
